The book of Revelation was written in 85-95 AD by the Apostle John. This letter was written while John was on the island of Patmos. The purpose of the letter was to give hope to persecuted Christians. He also wrote about a vision of Jesus's return. John gave hope to persecuted Christians. God is in control of history. Jesus will renew his creation and live among his people. Praise God.
