The book of I John was written in 85-95 AD by the Apostle John. The letter was written to emphasize the humanity and love of Jesus. This letter focuses on love. God's love through Jesus for us and our love for others. The letter also warns against false teachers. Jesus was fully human and fully God.
I John 3:16 says Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.
