The book of Hebrews was written in 60-69 AD by an unknown author. The purpose of the letter was to talk about the superiority of Jesus over the old covenant. The message of the letter is that Jesus is superior to the angels, Moses, Old Testament prophets and the sacrificial system. Jesus is the sinless High Priest. Jesus is the one and only sacrifice. We have access to the Holy God.
Hebrews 12:1-2 says fixing our eyes on Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
