" After I helped as many people as I could get into the port side boats, I waited until the ship descended".
" And then what happened?".
" I fell into the water and was immediatelly drawn to one of the ship's air shafts".
" Did you become injured?".
" No, a blast of air came out and forced me to the water's surface".
" And then what happened?".
" When I came to the surface, I was next to one of the collapsible boats that had overturned".
" Did you get in?".
" Yes and then I helped aboard as many men as I could find".
