Proverbs 18:10- ' the name of the Lord is a strong tower'
This name refers to God the Father. A strong tower was a safe protected place where a person could go to withstand the attack of the enemy. In this passage, King Solomon points out that conceited attitudes will be their downfall. It is a comfort to know that God the Father who is a strong tower will always protect us and watch over us.
