Deuteronomy 32:4- ' He is the Rock, his works are perfect and all his ways are just'
This term refers to God the Father. Rocks are a symbol of strength and steadfastness. In this bible passage, Moses in his last speech proclaimed that God was a rock they could rely on. In the Gospel of Matthew, it says that the foolish man builds his house on the sand but the wise man builds his house on the Rock.
