John 1:49- ' Rabbi, thou art the King of Israel'
This term refers to God the Son. Many people hoped that Jesus the Messiah would be a king who would lead them to independence. In this bible passage, Nathanael seconds after meeting Jesus declares Jesus the Son of God and King of Israel.
Jesus wants to be ruler and King of our hearts.
