God loves us so much that he demands our worship. God is worthy of worship and we should adore him for who he is. God is worthy to receive it, we were created to give it and God's Word says that we should do it. We must worship God in love and not in our selfish ways. God is unselfish love and gives us that daily. Because of that we should worship God with every fiber of our being. We should no longer treat worship as an option or do it passively. We should think of worship as being in a place where we have union with God and be close to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
