Lent 2017: Philippians 4: 4-7 by ric Gustafson
We go through many ups and downs in this earthly life. We go through joys, sorrows, blessings and afflictions. We need something to bring us peace. When things are going well, we think we have peace. What happens when life's storms come?. We need a better peace, the peace of God. This bible verse tells us that the peace of God is tranquility, security and a joy of the Spirit. God's peace is a deep peace that we can experience right now. The Apostle Paul wrote that the peace of God exceeds all understanding. Praise God.
