Lent 2017: Galatians 1: 1-5 by ric Gustafson
We are identified by the groups we belong to. Church groups, political groups and civic groups identify us. The center and core of the gospel is that Jesus died for us. The Apostle Paul in today's bible verse proclaims that Jesus gave himself for our sins. Jesus died in order to prepare a people for himself. We belong to Jesus. We serve Jesus in holiness and righteousness. Jesus died for us.
