What would Jesus do?. The mother of James and John asked Jesus for a favor. She asked Jesus to promise that her two sons could sit on either side of him in their Kingdom. Jesus replied that she had no idea what she was talking about. Jesus then explained to his followers that they should serve others first and their desires last. Jesus explained that he came to earth to serve. He served others all the way to the cross.
Instead of saying I want we should say I will. We can serve through small groups. God wants and expects us to serve others. I pray that we do that always.
