Lent 2017: Philippians 1: 12-14 by ric Gustafson
At the time this bible passage was written, the Apostle Paul was in prison. Instead of being negative about his situation, Paul writes the opposite. He declares that the events happening to him are advancing the gospel. Even confined in a prison, Paul is still spreading God's message.
Everyone including the guards knew that Paul was in prison for Jesus. God took care of Paul and people continued to hear his message. God will help us in our worst trials. He has promised that he would. He will help us beyond our imagination. Praise God
