Lent 2017: Ezekiel 18: 25-32 by ric Gustafson
The prophet Ezekiel preached to the people of Israel. The people had lost their nation and their homeland. God wanted to turn them around and guide them back to how he wanted them to live. If they did not listen to the prophet, they would face the judgment of God.
In Lent, we need to listen to that message too. We need to listen for the Holy Spirit. We need to read, meditate and hear God's Word. We must humble ourselves. We need to return to God. We need to repent and confess our sins to God.
