Malachi proclaims that the Jews were offering lame and sick sacrifices. Malachi proclaimed that they were divorcing their wives to marry pagan women. Malachi proclaimed that the people failed to pay tithes for the temple. The Lord was angry at the people. The Lord also promised to bless the obedient. God wants people to worship him in spirit and in truth.

It will be 400 years until the appearance of the messenger John the Baptist.
