The author of this book is not stated. It is believed to be John. He was the disciple whom Jesus loved. He was a brother of James and he was a son of Zebedee. The date of this book is around AD 90. It was the last Gospel written. The book talks about Jesus as being God himself. Jesus being the only Savior of the world. This Gospel is different than the other three. There are no parables recorded. Only seven miracles are listed. What John does talk about is Jesus's reasons for coming to earth. John's Gospel is the only one that talks about the miracle at Cana. This Gospel is the only one that talks about Nicodemus.
