The author of this book is the Apostle Paul. The book was written around AD 62. The book was written for all Christians. Paul wanted to tell that Christians were members of Jesus's body the church. Paul started the church in Ephesus. Paul talks about the church members relationship to Jesus. Paul says that through Jesus, God has reconciled both Jews and Gentiles to himself. This new life can result in pure honest living in the church and in the home. God will reward servants who are obedient to their masters.
