Jerusalem means ' Legacy of Peace'. The city is located in the Judean Mountains. The city dates back to the 4th millennium BC. The city has been besieged about forty times and destroyed more than thirty. In 1948, Israel obtained it's independence and Jerusalem was proclaimed it's capital. Jerusalem is a holy city for Jews, Christians and Muslims.
Psalm 122:6 asks everyone to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
