Jonah page 4 by ric Gustafson
When the sailors figure out that Jonah is the cause of the storm, they are not sure what to do. They inquire Jonah as to what they should do. Jonah said hurl me into the sea. At this point, he is starting to take responsibility for his situation. He's thinking about the sailors. His first step to redemption is thinking about someone else. As soon as Jonah was thrown overboard, the storm ceased. Even though Jonah was running away from God and disobeying him, God still saved him.
