The Pharisees had come to trap Jesus. They asked him what the greatest commandment was?. Jesus knew what they were trying to do. He quoted Deuteronomy 6: 4-5. Then he gives them a second commandment, Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus also told them that all the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands. Jesus tells us love God and love others. Praise God.
