Fall: simplicity and order

Fall: simplicity and order by ric gustafson

I Corinthians 14: 33 and 40 says God is not the author of confusion but of peace let all things be done decently and in order. God does not want us to have havoc in our lives and fall is a good time to tackle those things. It could be balancing your checkbook, emptying your inbox, working in your closet and putting away your summer clothes. We need to ask ourselves what fall reorganizing do we need to do.
A To Do list helps to organize our tasks. Jesus told us not to worry about tomorrow so we should only tackle one messy day at a time. As we have quiet time with God, we can ask him what he would like us to do today. If we take care of our minutes and hours, God will take care of our seasons and years. Fall is a great time to de-clutter our lives and learn the art of sanctified simplicity.
Next we will look at rekindling our love for Jesus in the fall.
