The book was written by Paul. Silas and Timothy helped him. The date of the book is the early 50's AD. The book talks about Jesus who will return to gather his followers to him. Paul talks about the second coming of Jesus. This was an issue with the Thessalonians. Paul says that Jesus will return but not when. Paul says to walk worthy of God. Paul says rejoice evermore and pray without ceasing. Paul told the church to live right because Jesus is coming back.
