The book was written by Paul. Timothy also helped him. The book was written in the early 60's AD. The book talks about Jesus being supreme over everyone and everything. The church at Colosse was dealing with false teaching. This was causing people to add unnecessary and unhelpful elements to their Christian faith. Paul sent the letter to remind the people of the superiority of Jesus over Jewish rules and regulations. Let the peace of God rule in your hearts to the which also ye are called in one body and be ye thankful.
