The Cross: triumph of the cross by ric Gustafson
Jesus was nailed to a cross. After his resurrection, he showed people his scarred hands and feet. The sign above his cross read " Jesus of Nazareth, The King of the Jews". God wanted people to know that his Son Jesus was the true King of Israel. A written code was nailed to that cross. That written code was a bill of debt. This bill of debt is a record of the debt we owe to God.
The good news is that Jesus canceled this bill of debt by dying on this cross. Our debt of sins was payed off and eliminated by Jesus on that cross. Lastly, Jesus on the cross defeated Satan.
