In this bible verse, the Jewish people are exiles from their home and living in a foreign land. King Nebuchadnezzar had built a golden statue and made the people bow down and worship it. Three young men refused. Their names were Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They were staying faithful to God. They faced a dilemma. Stand firm in God or go with the crowd. They refuse to bow down.
They tell the King that God will keep them safe. God does keep them safe. True faith is knowing that God can do what he says he will do. Praise God.
