Cannonballs slammed through the front door of the convent.
Alan watched as Mexican soldiers rushed in.
" Felipe, I will see you in heaven".
Several soldiers with bayonets began to advance toward them.
" Alan, I look forward to seeing you and Jesus".
Felipe killed the first Mexican near him.
His eyes went black.
Alan shot and killed the nearest soldier he saw.
Then his eyes went black.
