This book was written to defend the truth of the gospel. False teachings were popular. The Apostle Paul thought that this young church needed guidance on this matter. He tells them that they have been shifting away from Jesus. He tells them that freedom can only come from faith alone.
Paul explains the difference between salvation by faith and by works. When we believe in Jesus, we are justified by faith. Jesus Christ is alive in us. Praise God.
