Isaiah was a prophet. The book of Isaiah is the first of the major prophets. In the New Testament, no prophet was quoted more than Isaiah. The book of Isaiah is filled with poetic imagery. In this book, God is calling people to repentance and what judgment will follow. Isaiah tells of the Day of Judgment that is coming. To have peace, we need to fully trust God. Praise God.
