David was pedaling on one of the ship's stationary bicycles. Charlene was studying a map on a wall.
" This gymnasium is great". He got off. He walked over and got on a mechanical camel. " Tell me more about John 3:16".
" God so loved the world that he gave his beloved Son".
" To give his only Son". He got off and walked toward one of the rowing machines in the middle of the room. " He must of loved the world a lot".
" It also says if you simply believe in Jesus". Her voice hesitated. " You will not perish but have eternal life".
" Eternal life?".
Charlene smiled. " That means life forever with God".
He got off the rowing machine and picked up a dumbbell. " All he asks is that you simply believe".
" That's all he asks".
He put the dumbbell back and then wiped his sweaty face with a towel. " Sounds too good to be true".
" Food for thought". She smiled as they walked toward the door. " Speaking of food". She grinned. " Would you and your mother care to dine with us tonight?".
" I'll ask my mother".
