Pleasing God: a living sacrifice

Pleasing God: a living sacrifice by ric Gustafson

God does not punish his children. He brings them to repentance and then draws them closer. God does not get angry with us when we stumble and fall. He reaches down to us. God knows each of us by name. Because of Jesus, we have fellowship with God.
God wants us to offer ourselves to him as living sacrifices. We can thank God for offering his Son for our sins. Then we can have forgiveness, justification, reconciliation, redemption and then eternal life. According to Romans 12:1, we need to present ourselves as a living sacrifice to God. We need to present our mind to God. We need to present our emotions to God. We need to present our will to God. Praise God that I can be a living sacrifice to him.
