Pleasing God: do not love the world by ric Gustafson
As Christians, we would never want to exchange a life in Jesus for a life in this world. This world is winding down and God's prophecies are coming true. There is still a lot of work to do and a harvest out there to be gathered. God does not want us to be conformed to this world. God wants us to be part of the kingdom of light.
The other kingdom of this world is the kingdom of darkness. Satan rules this kingdom. James 4:4 says that if we belong to Satan's kingdom, then we are an enemy of God. Satan is sneaky, crafty, a liar and a deceiver. God has a better plan for us. Jesus came to set us free.
