Pleasing God: love your enemies by ric Gustafson
God wants us to love our enemies. He wants to love our neighbors as ourselves. God's love draws us and changes us. When someone has done something wrong to us, it is hard to show kindness back.
So how do we love our enemies?. First, we choose to obey God in this matter of loving others. Second, we trust God to defend us and protect us when we do this. Third, we seek the Holy Spirit to guide us. Fourth, we ask God to take away unloving emotions from us. Lastly, we need to follow Jesus's example because he loved everyone.
