According to Romans 12:2, God wants us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. II Corinthians 3:18 tells us to be transformed into the same image from glory to glory. To renew means to make new. When our mind is renewed, our thoughts, desires, values and dreams change. We need to present our entire self to God.
God wants us to think his way and not the world's way. Original sin began in the mind. God created men and women to be different. There is a war going on for control of our mind.
We need to think upon God always. Praise God.
