Pleasing God: does this please God? by ric Gustafson
According to I John 4:19, we love him because he first loved us. God loves us so we love him in return. When we love God, we want to please him. God is worthy to be praised. Our greatest aim in life should be to please God. With everything that we do, we should ask our self does it please God?.
We need to realize that without faith, we cannot please God. God is a personal God who knows everything about us. According to Psalm 139, we cannot hide from God. God will reward those who seek him.
How do we seek God?. First, we ask God to reveal himself to us. Second, we search the Scriptures. Third, we ask God to speak to us and then listen. Lastly, we share God's truth.
