Transformation begins in the tombs of our life. As Mary and Martha waited for Jesus to come, their brother died. Doubt can creep into our life. A divorce, job loss or the death of a family member can bring us to a tomb of darkness. We can run and try to hide from our tomb. Our spiritual transformation begins in our tomb.
We think we know God until disaster strikes. Then we question and ask where is God?. When bad news strikes us, a tomb of despair occurs. Our spiritual transformation begins with God. There is no tomb dark enough for God. Right now, we may be feeling a dark tomb enclosing us. God is with us and the tomb will be opened. We do not belong there.
