crimes of the century: BTK

crimes of the century: BTK by ric gustafson

For three decades starting in 1974, Wichita Kansas witnessed a serial killer. He became known as the BTK killer. The first victims were Joseph and Julie Otero and two of their children. He wrote to the local newspaper that he could not control himself. In total, ten people were murdered during this time. A breakthrough in 2004 led authorities to a church computer and Dennis Rader. Rader was a devoted husband, father of two, Cub Scout leader and a leader in his church.
Rader admitted guilt and is now serving 10 life sentences in the El Dorado Correctional Facility.
