crimes of the century: Boston Bombers by ric gustafson

At 2:45 pm on April 15 2013, the annual Boston Marathon was going on. Just then, the street exploded with the explosions of two shrapnel filled pressure cooker bombs. When the smoke finally cleared, three were dead and 264 were wounded many losing limbs.
Studying video cameras, authorities identified the suspects as Tamerlan Tsarnaev and his brother Dzhokhar. The brothers killed a university police officer and carjacked a black Mercedes SUV. The next day, authorities caught up with them in the town of Watertown Mass. Dzhokhar ran over his brother and killed him as he tried to escape a shootout. Later, he was caught hiding in a boat behind a house. He now faces 30 charges including use of a weapon of mass destruction resulting in death and conspiracy.
