Taste page 4

Taste page 4 by ric gustafson

We looked at taste regarding texture and feel of food. Now we will look at what we see in regard to taste. In food development, sight is critical. When someone says that people eat with their eyes, it is so true. Our sense of sight is quicker than our sense of smell. Our hearing and our sight is external but we need to have food up close in order to smell and has to be in our mouths to taste. At the grocery store, you use your eyes to make sure that what you are buying is what you want. We use our eyes to determine how much we want to eat.
