Genesis 3:15- ' And I will put enmity between thee and the woman and between thy seed and her seed'
This term refers to God the Son. Jesus is prophesized as the Seed of the Woman and therefore a descendant of Eve. Jesus being a descendant of Eve fulfilled the promises God made in Eden. After the Fall, God said that Adam would toil away at the earth. He also said that Eve would bear children in pain. God then told the serpent that he would be ultimately defeated.
