Matthew 24:33 says that we are to recognize that he is near. Everyone wants to be recognized and feel that they are valued. God respects everyone whether they are a volunteer or get paid for a job. God knows the importance of a name and calls us friends. God wants his followers to value family, friends, co workers, colleagues and associates. God values everyone and wants us to do the same.
