Why study the book of Proverbs?. It is to help us know wisdom and instruction. It is to discern the sayings of understanding. It is to help us with wise behavior, justice and equity. It is to give prudence to the naive. It is to cultivate keenness of mind. Proverbs 1 talks about wisdom. Wisdom is available. Wisdom can be ignored. It is not good to avoid wisdom. Solomon pleads with his son to heed the warning voice of wisdom. Praise God's name.
