Job: Job 4-27 part 2 by ric gustafson
The focus now shifts from Job's three friends to his laments. In Job 6, he laments what has happened to him. He feels that he does not deserve it. In Job 9, he is past caring for himself. Job accuses God of being unfair. He wants to bring his case to God. The chief justice is God.
Job wants to be in the presence of God. This longing is in Job 14. In Job 23, he does not want to be cast away. Job and God have a troubled relationship. God and Job loved each other very much. This is true worship revealed by suffering. Praise God's name.
