Lent 2017: Romans 1: 16-17 by ric Gustafson
Today's bible reading says that the righteous person will live by faith. In 1738, a young man named John Wesley attended a meeting in London. That night, he gave his life to Jesus. His conversion happened because he trusted Jesus for salvation. From Jesus, he received the assurance that his sins were forgiven. Today's bible reading also said that God's righteousness is being revealed in the gospel from faithfulness for faith. Praise God.
