Luke 6:23 states that we can rejoice in that day and leap for joy because great is your reward in heaven. Because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, we can have heavenly treasure. That treasure is the moment we make that decision to follow Jesus. Our old self is torn away and the new self is revealed.
Because of the cross, we can have true riches greater than anything on earth.
