Malachi 1 says if then I am the Father where is my honor?. Even Christians forget to honor God the Father. We could profess to honor the Father but our heart tells otherwise. 

The question is how do we honor God the Father?. One way is to obey him. God the Father loves us, cares for us and gives us compassion. But he expects us to be obedient. We are to love God the Father with all of  our heart, mind and strength. God is our heavenly Father. He deserves honor.
