God speaks to Jacob and promises him land. Jacob stops at a well and meets Laban's daughter Rachel. Laban and Jacob talk. Jacob agrees to work for Laban for seven years. In exchange, Jacob can marry Rachel. By mistake, he marries Leah. He begins to work for Laban again. Later, he wrestles with an angel. According to Genesis 32, the angel changes Jacob's name to Israel.
