The book of Luke is the longest in the New Testament. It focuses on the ministry and life of Jesus. In this verse, Jesus is traveling toward Jerusalem. Jesus was telling a parable about a dishonest manager and his servants. Then he talks about slaves and masters. Jesus explains that we cannot serve two masters. We cannot serve both God and money. God blesses us with the money given to us. Our faith and service we owe to God. We use the money given to us to serve him. Praise God.
