Apostle's Creed: the Holy Catholic Church by ric gustafson
Roman Catholic teaching presents the church of Christ as one organized body of baptized persons. Protestants say the church is one worldwide fellowship of believing people. The church is the society of God's redeemed and baptized people. The church looks back to Christ's first coming with gratitude. The church also waits for Christ's second coming with hope. There are disputes between Roman Catholic and Protestant. The local church is called to serve God and men in humility. The local church is worship, witness, active in love and care for insiders and outsiders. Praise God's name.
