The prayer of the heart is intimacy with our Father God. We want God to hold us and hold our hand. According to Luke 13, we want God to love us. This prayer is also called the ' Abba Prayer'. God wants to commune with us. When we are close to Jesus, we are close to our Father God. God says to us come to me. Come to me and laugh, weep, be hugged and worship.
The Prayer of the Heart is the Holy Spirit praying within us. We can get into the Word one passage at a time. We can speak in tongues. We can experience holy laughter.
God through his Son and Spirit will guide us in this Prayer of the Heart.
God loves us more than anything else.
