We all have a desire to be in control. If we control the situation, we will have a desired outcome. No matter how hard we try to be in control, we are not. We try to gain control through bad habits.
Jesus says something different about control. Proverbs 3:5 says trust in the Lord with all your heart. The need to control could be idolatry. If we trust something other than God, he says give it me. Give your life to the one who controls your life. I trust in the Lord with all my heart.
