Beatle songs: Eleanor Rigby by ric gustafson
Paul wrote a song about someone who cleaned churches after weddings. He thought about an old person he had known as a Boy Scout. The name Eleanor came from an actress in Help. Rigby came from a business Paul had walked by. The other three in the band came up with ideas to help Paul finish the story.
The song was included on the album Revolver. It was released in August 1966.
